I serve as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Smith Affiliated Capital, where I oversee the
firm’s tax-exempt investment strategies and contribute to portfolio decisions as a member of the
Investment Committee. Since joining SAC in 1999 as Vice President and Director of Tax
Exempt Investments, I have focused on developing and managing municipal bond portfolios
with an emphasis on consistency, credit quality, and long-term performance across changing
market environments.

Prior to joining the firm, I spent twelve years with Merrill Lynch & Co.’s Defined Asset Funds,
where I held roles in both the Research Department and the Buying and Private Placement
Department. That experience provided a strong foundation in credit analysis, market structure,
and portfolio development within institutional fixed income markets.

I earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University and also
hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring New York City’s arts and restaurant scene, and
spending time with friends.
