I serve as Chief Operating Officer at Smith Affiliated Capital, where I oversee client experience,
operational execution, and the coordination of our internal teams to help ensure the firm runs
smoothly and clients receive a high level of service and attention. Since joining SAC in 2013 as
Manager of Client Relations, I have taken on broader responsibilities across operations, business
development, and organizational strategy, working closely with our portfolio management and
executive teams to support the firm’s long-term growth and client relationships.
Before joining Smith Affiliated Capital, I spent more than a decade at the Child Study Center at
NYU Langone Health, where I specialized in patient relations, compliance, and operations
management within a nonprofit healthcare environment. That experience shaped my approach to
communication, organization, and client service, and continues to influence how I work today. I
also bring experience in event and conference coordination as well as social media strategy,
supporting the firm’s outreach and engagement efforts.
I have also been actively involved in the firm’s internship and mentorship efforts, helping recruit
and support both domestic and international interns while providing exposure to the operational,
client service, and business development aspects of the investment advisory industry.
I earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature from
Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College,
Columbia University. I am also proficient in Spanish, which supports communication and
engagement across a diverse range of clients and relationships.
Outside of work, much of my time is spent with family, planning ski trips, exploring all that New
York City has to offer, and tackling ongoing restoration and gardening projects around our
historic home. I have completed numerous triathlons, including a 70.3 in the Adirondacks and
the NYC Triathlon three times, as well as the NYC Marathon while raising money for The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (now Blood Cancer United).
