CaiDong Lai, MS, CFA, Fixed Income Analyst, Quanitative Specialist, COMPASS Analytics Caidong Lai joined SAC in 2014 and became a member of the firm’s Investment Committee in 2016. Caidong is responsible for fixed income market research, the development of internal risk management analytics, and the daily trading and clearing operations. Since joining the team, he has built and refined SAC’s COMPASS Analytics: a proprietary data aggregator and risk analytic system which tracks and analyzes composites, portfolios or indices’ characteristics, structures and risk profiles from multiple dimensional perspectives. Prior to SAC, Caidong worked as Analyst and Assistant to the Chairman of CASB Venture, LLC. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, and the Chinese Association for Science and Business. He earned his MS in Financial Engineering at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering and his MS in Finance at the Clark University Graduate School of Management.
